Tamron SP series

With the ever-improving image quality of digital SLR and System cameras the demands of amateur and professional photographers are also increasing. Lenses with maximum image sharpness, particularly good workmanship and an elegant design are now in demand. For some time now, Tamron has been meeting these requirements and is setting new standards with the new SP series Series.

Of course Tamron has always impressed with its outstanding optical performance in its more than 60-year history, but now the last bit has been teased out. The lenses deliver outstanding imaging performance and the best possible functionality. In most cases, a powerful VC image stabilizer is integrated, which minimizes camera shake and allows for longer exposure times and closed apertures. The lenses are known for their XLD glass, which stands for impressive sharpness and low color dispersion. The new Tamron SP series includes optimum dust and splash protection with a special seal in each of the lenses. This makes the protection even more effective than before. Just like the image quality, the workmanship and feel are convincing. As soon as you hold one of the SP lenses in your hands, you can feel the quality. This naturally deserves a stylish design. Tamron has achieved this brilliantly with a very simple, straightforward and elegant exterior.

Via Tamron's optional TAP-in Console the lenses always receive the latest firmware and are therefore regularly optimized in the long term in areas such as focus correction and VC settings.
