Everything is different - or is it?
User-friendliness is Fujifilm's top priority: they have listened to their users and created the little sister of the X-T4 . They are now appealing to all those who have been looking for an affordable alternative but want to retain the quality and brilliance of the X-T4. The X-S10 has adopted the 26 MP X-Trans CMOS sensor and the X-Processor from the X-T4 and impresses with brilliant quality. The autofocus quality and video functions have also been adopted. But what has changed? A significant improvement has been achieved in the algorithm for the automatic mode . In this mode, the settings are now adjusted more efficiently and quickly. The camera also selects the various film simulations itself and adapts them to the subject and the surroundings. You now also have the option of shooting in RAW in automatic mode, giving you even more options in post-processing. In the video area, the technology of the X-T4 has been largely adopted, with one difference: you can now see the time already recorded in your video and therefore work more precisely and better.
Improved automatic algorithm
Many newcomers to the world of photography often shoot in automatic mode. To help you get the best out of your new X-S10, the automatic detection algorithm has been significantly improved. The camera now adjusts the settings even more precisely and better to the given conditions. It is also possible to shoot in RAW in automatic mode and to change the autofocus field . In terms of user-friendliness, you now also have the option of storing your individual settings on the selection dial from C1 to C4, so that you have them ready to hand in any situation. The various function buttons are also quick and easy to reach and operate.
Video recordings like with the X-T4
With the new X-S10, there are no losses in the video area. The fast face and eye autofocus has been adopted from the X-T4. With the Fujifilm X-S10 you can shoot in 4K at 30 frames per second . In Full HD with 240 frames per second. With the Eterna film simulation invented for video, you can create a unique look in your recordings. The swivel and rotatable LCD also makes it particularly easy to record vlogs with the X-S10. There has also been a change here: the display no longer shows the time still available for the video, but the time already recorded. The X-S10 also has a USB-C , a micro HDMI and a microphone input . In addition to the user-friendly function buttons, the recording button for video is located on the top of the camera so that you can easily start your recording. You also have the option of switching to dedicated video mode with the selection dial, allowing you to define independent settings and optimized menus for photo and video.
