  • made of aluminum
  • 15 kg load capacity
  • 14.2 cm pack size
  • 144 g light

This easy-to-handle mini tripod is almost completely black anodized. Because it is also made of robust aircraft aluminum (CNC-milled), it could easily carry up to 15 kg, if a camera placed directly on the ¼" screw of the MT-02 weighed that much. Above all, however, the MT-02 is extremely light. Given its length - or rather, shortness - of 142 mm, every millimeter weighs only approx. 1 g. The low weight of exactly 144 g and the small space requirement (e.g. in a photo bag) will certainly be appreciated. In addition, the Leofoto MT-02 mini tripod is very easy to use: the spread angle of each leg can be set to 35°, 55° or 85° using a slider. This allows the optimum balance of height and stability to be adjusted. The minimum working height can be reduced to 28 mm. The MT-02 is not just a good table tripod. It is also a recommendation for all those photo enthusiasts who would like to take photos on the go with a small tripod, but which has to fit in the smallest (photo) bag. The MT-02 mini tripod is also available together with the Leofoto MTB-19 ball head as a very practical set.

Leofoto mini tripods - super compact, but with great strengths
These are the dwarves among the numerous photo tripods from Leofoto. But that doesn't make them weaklings, on the contrary. Depending on the model, they can shoulder 15, 25 or even 50 kg with ease. There are many reasons for using a mini tripod. It is no coincidence that such short-legged tripods are also called table tripods. There is no need for long legs, as tables or any other raised surface can replace them. But these super-compact tripods also prove to be extremely practical and useful for many other photographic occasions. This is because the Leofoto mini tripods are by no means dependent on a flat surface (tables, etc.). The terrain can also be bumpy. Such a mini tripod can also be positioned very well on a bumpy rock. This makes Leofoto mini tripods interesting for those photographers who do not want to travel without a tripod under any circumstances, but at the same time want to keep all their equipment absolutely compact. Such a small and - even including the Leofoto ball head! - A mini tripod weighing no more than 220 g takes up hardly any space in a photo bag.
If you want to be as inconspicuous as possible when photographing nature and animals, the small size of the mini tripods alone helps to ensure that the camera set up goes as unnoticed as possible. Want even more inconspicuousness? No problem, one of the Leofoto mini tripods is not only available in "natural", i.e. bare aluminum, but also optionally in a light wood look or even in camouflage. And another of these mini tripods does not have six or eight legs like spiders, but its three legs can be angled individually and differently so that they sometimes do look like spider legs. This has very practical reasons, as it allows finer positioning and stabilization of this mini tripod.
If aluminium is used, then Leofoto only uses high-strength aircraft aluminium, always precisely CNC-milled. In the case of the mini tripods, this applies to both the legs and the head plate of every model - and, if available as a set, also to the corresponding Leofoto ball heads.
